How to grow robust & sustainable creative businesses?

Well it’s a good question and not one that can be ironed out over a cuppa…

I understand how overwhelming it can be to look at making your business and your life more ‘green’ and/or sustainable – this has been a passion of mine ever since primary school and a workshop we took part in on packaging – see the slide with the After Eights boxes…

Open To Create… is my day to day expression in the world of being part of co-creating an inheritable world for many future generations of all species on this planet.

I trust you enjoy and find inspiration in the slides from my workshop “Giving Your Business The Green Light” run in partnership with University of East London as part of their Make It Global programme with The Centre of Excellence for Women’s Entrepreneurship

Sometimes a collaboration comes along and you can’t help but be drawn along by both the simplicity of the concept but also the depth of the message…

Artist, producer, illustrator, designer and creative polymath – Alex Beeching’s Orwellian Garden for the 2013 Bloomsbury Festival is just one of those projects.

It’s a greening project with art at it’s heart. The aim of the project is to reclaim a greying part of Senate House car park, UCL, London.

A pop up office will appear as if by magic over night for 19th & 20th October 2013 as part of the Bloomsbury Festival 2013

Contrary to Orwell’s statement in 1984 about ‘putting the boot into the face of humanity’ Alex’s garden will encourage all those who discover it’s magic to play with the greened office space, to be enchanted by the many secret floral touches to be found on closer inspection and to participate in growing a new floral form of shoe planter…

Have we sparked of your imagination? Want to learn more? Jolly good as arts, knowledge and imagination are the festival’s themes this year.
