Tell me what you think…

No really…

Feedback used to scare the bejesus out of me… I read it all like criticism, new ways to add to my own internal mindtalk trains of very unhelpful and self critical chatter.

Now I welcome feedback as a tool for change, growth and love to learn (on the whole) what I can use to improve myself and what I love to be and do in the world.

Share the love - I want to know what you think!

4 Rooms for Living In – essentials for self nurture and self care…

Clara Jones & I first connected via Twitter… and the rest, as they say, is history. Living proof that there still is genuine, mutually supportive and authentic relationships to be made across the twittering classes.

Like me Clara is a coach who works mainly with women with North Wales as herphysical base whilst she weaves her unique blend of creative coaching, mentoring and personal development with women 1-2-1 or in groups across the world.

I can now say I am in the great company of an ever growing number of inspirational women who Clara interviews for her website and blog http://www.4roomsliving.co.uk/

I have answered a range of questions all about different aspects of self nurture and care and where I get side tracked, reach burn out and simple ways I do my best each day to stay on track…

You can keep up to date with what is inspiring Clara each day via her Twitter account…  @4roomsliving

And keep re-visiting her website as she add more and more new women’s stories of self care & love… inspirational and safe haven to re-visiting when you feel a wee bit wobbly, as is natural. Happy reading & sharing!

How to grow robust & sustainable creative businesses?

Well it’s a good question and not one that can be ironed out over a cuppa…

I understand how overwhelming it can be to look at making your business and your life more ‘green’ and/or sustainable – this has been a passion of mine ever since primary school and a workshop we took part in on packaging – see the slide with the After Eights boxes…

Open To Create… is my day to day expression in the world of being part of co-creating an inheritable world for many future generations of all species on this planet.

I trust you enjoy and find inspiration in the slides from my workshop “Giving Your Business The Green Light” run in partnership with University of East London as part of their Make It Global programme with The Centre of Excellence for Women’s Entrepreneurship

Make It Global: Giving You The Green Light… creating green creative businesses…

Proud to be designing this one day workshop to inspire women running creative businesses to get creative around the green aspects of running creative businesses…

And excited to meet the group and hear their ideas and solutions to make their business as sustainable for now and the future…

Thanks to the wonderful team at University of East London Centre of Excellence for Women’s Entrepreneurship

Creative Thinking… a new 5 week course about expanding your creative horizons

Discover your creative thinking & problem solving skills

This is the very best of being able to create the work I love and share what gets me super excited in Life… with community members from East London and beyond…

Creative Thinking is a course I’ve written to encourage you re-discover the senses of touching, feeling, hearing, tasting and seeing your world in new and exciting ways.

How cool to be able to cook up over 10 hours worth of playful games, exercises and assignments for those of you curious about re-finding that inner creative child who used to be able to play so freely and without boundaries.

As we ‘grow’ up we sometimes forget to release our inner joy at the everyday.

And to face into what can sometimes seem like insurmountable problems with the joy de vivre of the wide eyed, stars in their hands innocent…

Care to take yourself on a journey of re-discovery, playful exploration and lighthearted thinking about the deeper questions we have in Life?

Orwellian Garden… flowers in the face of humanity – The Bloomsbury Festival 19th – 20th Oct 2013

Just for the weekend 19th-20th October 2013 @BloomsburyFest

Just for the weekend 19th-20th October 2013
@BloomsburyFest

Sometimes a collaboration comes along and you can’t help but be drawn along by both the simplicity of the concept but also the depth of the message…

Artist, producer, illustrator, designer and creative polymath – Alex Beeching’s Orwellian Garden for the 2013 Bloomsbury Festival is just one of those projects.

It’s a greening project with art at it’s heart. The aim of the project is to reclaim a greying part of Senate House car park, UCL, London.

A pop up office will appear as if by magic over night for 19th & 20th October 2013 as part of the Bloomsbury Festival 2013

Contrary to Orwell’s statement in 1984 about ‘putting the boot into the face of humanity’ Alex’s garden will encourage all those who discover it’s magic to play with the greened office space, to be enchanted by the many secret floral touches to be found on closer inspection and to participate in growing a new floral form of shoe planter…

Have we sparked of your imagination? Want to learn more? Jolly good as arts, knowledge and imagination are the festival’s themes this year.

You can join in the conversation via the project Facebook page
